FULL RICH
Leacock's Rich Madeira is a dark full wine with a pleasing soft texture.
It is excellent taken with dessert or on its own after meals.
SERCIAL
This 5 years of age Sercial has been matured in oak casks and this is
reflected in its slightly nutty bouquet. It is very dry and delicate and
is best enjoyed served chilled before meals.
VERDELHO
This medium dry amber-coloured Verdelho is a delicate Madeira, lightly raisiny
and slightly tangy on the palate. Served chilled as an aperitif.
BUAL
This 5 years of age meduim rich Bual shows its cask ageing through the smooth
ripe fruit flavours and spicy nutty bouquet. Enjoyable served on its own or
with cheeses and desserts.
MALMSEY
This 5 years of age full rich Malmsey has been aged in oak casks. It is a very
rich and fruity and may be best enjoyed as an accompaniment to desserts.
10 Year Old
VERDELHO
This is an elegant medium dry Madeira with spicy overtones and an attractive
underlying smoky quality - typical of old Madeiras. The tangy citrous
palate makes this delicate aged Verdelho a magnificent aperitif served
lightly chilled. It is also an admirable accompaniment to light desserts.
BUAL
This outstanding Bual has been aged in oak casks for 10 years and though
mellowed by time is a powerful and well-balanced Madeira. Try it with
dessert or cheese
15 Year Old
MALMSEY
This 15 years of age Madeira is superlatively rich and rounded. Its silken
texture and firm backbone are evidence of its fine quality. It has been
aged in oak casks on the Island of Madeira and bottled only shortly before
shipment.
Leacock’s has been consistantly producing world renowned vintages since 1760.
